Rumi Hires began with one of the most meaningful moments of our lives — our wedding. Searching across Queensland for event pieces that felt fresh, elegant and ahead of the trend, we kept running into the same walls: dated styles, limited options, high minimum spends, and prices that simply didn't stack up.

So, drawing on a background in global trade and product procurement, we sourced our own collection — timeless, refined pieces worthy of a once-in-a-lifetime celebration. After the wedding, friends and family kept asking where they could hire the same items.

Arthur provided the umberellas for our wedding in Beechmont, we found him through his add on marketplace and he was such a pleasure to work with. The unberellas looked incredible and it was a seamless process where his delivery drivers dropped them off and picked them up. We're Brisbane based and service locations across Queensland and Northern New South Wales. Delivery is quoted based on your venue — just include the location in your enquiry.

where is the pickup location?

Pickup is in Bethania, QLD 4205.

is there a minimum hire amount?

We built Rumi Hires because high minimums frustrated us as a couple planning our own wedding. Hire a single statement piece or a full setup — we're flexible.

how do i get a quote?

Add items to your quote list while browsing, then send it through in one click — or use the enquiry form. We'll come back to you with availability and pricing.

can you help with styling?

Absolutely. Book a free chat and we'll help you plan a cohesive look — from chairs and tables to lounge furniture and tableware.

do you offer volume discounts?

Yes — several items include reduced pricing when you hire in larger quantities. For example, French Lite Iron chairs are $18 each, or $15 each when you hire 20 or more. Volume tiers are shown on each product card. Your final quote will reflect the best rate for your quantities.

how far in advance should i book?

Popular pieces book out quickly for peak wedding season. We recommend enquiring as soon as you have your date — there's no obligation.
